This gem contains a mote of the raw energy that gives live to plants. When you use an action to break the gem, an Awakened Tree sprouts from it. The tree disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or after 1 hour (whichever comes first). When it disappears, it is enveloped in magical flame and reduced to dust in a matter of seconds.
The tree is friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the Awakened Tree, which has its own turns. It obey any verbal commands that you issue to it (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to it, the tree defends itself from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions.
